Catching a Criminal in the Act

I hate when restaurants will open up locations in areas that surround mine, but won’t come here. One pizza restaurant in particular did this, and I was so mad. I decided to take matters into my own hands by opening a franchise of this restaurant. For a while, it was great. I could have the pizza I wanted, while making money from the restaurant. Then one day the restaurant was robbed after closing time. The thieves broke in and only took money from the cash register. After that, I looked into getting one of those CCTV kits to keep an eye on the restaurant.

The robbery was horrible, but it wasn’t the end of my store. All of the money wasn’t stored in the cash register. There was a safe in the back of the restaurant that was used to store money temporarily, until it could be deposited. Since the robber didn’t know about the safe, all he did was take cash from the most visible source.

A True Family Bonding Experience

Going out into the country for clay shooting in Bristol has to rank as the most enjoyable experiences in my life. I go often to the club with my grandfather and my own father and it’s always a great way to bond with the family. With the political divisions in the country, it’s also a great way to spend time with my Tory father and grandfather without having to worry about politics rearing its ugly head. Considering my strong Labour stand, politics often comes up and you can imagine the arguments we’ve had over the years. All of that goes away at the shooting club.

The shooting club itself is a marvelous structure that’s been around longer than I’ve been alive. Some of my earliest memories consist of me tagging along with my grandfather while he shot clay pigeons on the club grounds. Then we would tour the gun room and look at all the amazing firearms they have available for club members to use. It goes without saying that I couldn’t wait to grow up and be able to shoot alongside my grandfather.

I Have Been Doing Some Shooting

I have been working to establish some new relationships with clients this weekend. I went clay shooting in Bristol along the southern shore of England. In fact that is a lot bigger of a deal that you would think that it is if you were from the USA. In Texas they have some crazy people who go to Denny’s with their assault rifles and it is perfectly legal. They are making some sort of weird political statement about the second amendment. They do not have that over here in the UK. You do not have the right to bear arms and you do not have obscene levels of firearms violence either.

Making Better Sense of Food Waste Management in My Restaurant

When I started a restaurant I never knew how much food waste there would be. We have waste vegetable matter from food prep and we have a lot of prepared foods, such as breads, that are too old for retail sale, but not too old to be consumed. I wanted a way to have food waste management make more sense. The breads are all perfectly fine to be eaten. I take a loaf or two home for my family to eat. However, it is what you would call day-old bread. We are not going to sell it to customers, but it is still great tasting and perfectly nutritious for every other use.

Passing on My Hobby to My Daughter

Considering my decades long penchant for clay shooting, it was practically inevitable I would attempt to pass on my love for this engaging hobby to my children. I always imagined sharing many days at the range with my son, teaching him to love this passion as much as I have over the years. I caught the bug from my own father, who was quite skillful with a shotgun and won several awards many decades ago in the sport. My plans ran into a bit of a hitch when my wife gave me a daughter rather than a son.

But who cares? Women can shoot just as well as the men and I have met many women over the years who are as enthusiastic about this sport as I am.

Putting a Great Product Idea on a Website

Our daughter had a great idea for a product. She took some scrap lumber from the framing of our outdoor garden shed and had us cut it exactly five inches long. My friend Ruiz Morgan cut a whole bunch of them. She then took some flat white paint and flat black paint and expertly painted the pieces of wood after she sanded them. Then she stenciled sayings on them and embellished with some freehand painting. They were little desk signs. She sold a hundred of them, so we got a web designer in Bristol to make her a website to sell them online.

Now we offer display stands and there is a sticker on the back of each one with her business name and a barcode for pricing. Her product is now pretty much available anywhere due to being online, and she sells a lot of them.

Things Feel Peaceful Around My House Once Again

I rarely worried about my safety all in the past, but that changed once I found a Peeping Tom at my window one night. It really scared me and it made me think about how many times I have done things like left windows and doors open late at night. I asked my husband if we could install an IP camera system after that, and he was in agreement that it would be a good idea. He knows how do that sort of thing, so he handled it all by himself. I feel better knowing that the system he put in helps me to have more control over what happens around my house.

The good news is that the Peeping Tom has never come back. I know this because I check the camera and the footage often. I’m so happy to know he hasn’t come back.

I Always Try to Show My Wife How Much She is Appreciated

My wife had been saying for some time that she wanted to go out with her friends because she missed how much fun she used to have with them. Before we got married, she did go out a lot and have fun. She loved it. But since we have been married, she has felt that she has a lot of responsibilities to tend to because she wants to. So, I thought it would be good to help her do that. I called the people at www.partybustoronto.com to discuss a girls night out for my wife and all her girlfriends. I had to be very sneaky about it so that she would not find out too early ahead of time. I wanted her to be surprised.

I have a really marriage.

A Toronto Wedding in Style

With our daughter making her wedding arrangements, my husband and I helped out by looking into transportation options. We stumbled over dream night limousine and made the decision to go with them. They have quite the track record here in Toronto transporting people to all sorts of activities. My husband and I weren’t very happy using a limo for the service, however, because we wanted something simpler. Our daughter did too. She didn’t want a lot of bells and whistles with her wedding as she’s pretty low key and doesn’t go for the over the top stuff. She clips coupons even when she doesn’t really need to do it.

Her soon to be husband’s family, however, comes from money so they wanted a limo service to transport the couple away from the church and to the reception. They’re very particular about presenting a certain image to their friends and family and they insisted on hiring the limousine service. We offered to cover the cost as they were picking up a large portion of the total cost of the wedding.

A Magic Show for Their Anniversary

When my sister and I started planning our parent’s surprise anniversary party, we wanted to do something that would make it really memorable. We thought about the different things we could do, such as hiring a band, having it at an amusement park, or something similar. My husband told me we should look into magician hire for London area, and we both thought that was brilliant. Our parents both love watching magic programs on TV, but we didn’t think they had ever been to one in person. Rather than buying them tickets for one, we decided to bring the magic to their party.

We did a search for magicians in the area, and that is how we found out about Paul Martin. We looked at the pictures on his site as well as the testimonials, and we knew that this was the right move.
